After admitting in 2021 that she’s thankful she never got a face tattoo as a teenager, Cardi B took to Twitter on Sunday to reveal she’s thinking about getting her visage inked as a tribute to her son.

“Random but I’m 1% close to tatting my son’s name on my face. I really really wanna do it!” Cardi wrote, adding that she wants the tattoo on her jaw.

Cardi’s comments arrive half a year after she revealed she almost got some face art as a teenager.

“Everyday I’m thankful at the fact that ain’t get this face tatt I wanted when I was 16,” the Bronx rapper tweeted last July.

The ink she was considering as a teen was “little stars from the top of my eyebrow swirling down to my jaw.”

Back in September 2018, months after Cardi and husband Offset welcomed their first child Kulture into the world, the Migos rapper took to Instagram to reveal a face tattoo he received in honor of their newborn daughter.

Offset showed off the piece, courtesy of tattoo artist Bricks, in a series of Instagram stories. You can see “Kulture” written near his jawline with “rock star angel” above.

“All kids tatted,” he captioned the video. “Don’t play wit me.”
