Nina Chanel Abney's Air Jordan 2 Collabs Drop in July

Fans of the Air Jordan 2 will have plenty of styles to look forward to this year including this new collab from New York-based artist Nina Chanel Abney after an early look of the shoe surfaced.
Pictured here from @Apolloluo1976 on Instagram are images of the previously unseen Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 2 collab that is currently slated to drop in July. The collab dons a simple white and red colorway with the blocking reminiscent of an OG makeup from ‘87. Unlike the standard versions of the Air Jordan 2, this pair is equipped with uniquely distinct overlay panels at the forefoot, the heel counter, and the heel tab. The collab also comes with a special hangtag featuring Chanel Abney’s artwork.
According to @zSneakerheadz, this Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 2 collab is releasing exclusively in women’s sizing on July 8. Check back soon to Sole Collector for official details in the coming weeks.
UPDATE (04/16): In addition to last week’s leaks of the white and red colorway, a new Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 2 Low has now surfaced courtesy of @Apolloluo1976. Per @zSneakerheadz, both styles are scheduled to release in July but release details for the collab have yet to be announced by either of the parties involved.
UPDATE (06/22): Official Nike product images of the two Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 2s have emerged, but release details for the collab have not yet been officially announced. Keep it locked to Sole Collector for updates in the coming weeks.
UPDATE (06/28): Nike has confirmed on SNKRS that the Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 2 collabs are releasing on July 8 via the app and at select Jordan Brand retailers. The high-top will retail for $250 while the low-top retails for $225.
