No Ceilings is a Pigeons & Planes concert series that we’ve been doing with Move Forward Music since 2014. We’ve put on the first NYC headlining shows for artists like 6LACK, Noname, and Dominic Fike, and over the years our lineups have featured so many other acts during their rise: Smino, Denzel Curry, $NOT, Rico Nasty, Omar Apollo, Westside Boogie, Ravyn Lenae, Choker, Saba, LUCKI, Little Simz, Kevin Abstract, and more.
Over the past couple of years, we’ve missed putting on live events dearly, but finally we’re back. To mark the return of No Ceilings, we’ll be doing back-to-back shows in December. First up we’ve got Wallice, Boyish, Hamond, and Babebee on Friday, December 2 at Brooklyn Made. The following night, we’ll have Kenny Mason, Ben Reilly, Maxo, and Al-Doms at the Market Hotel.

Wallice
Wallice is an indie pop and rock artist with a knack for big hooks and self-aware lyrics. In 2021, Wallice signed with Dirty Hit (home of The 1975, Beabadoobee, Rina Sawayama) and she recently appeared on our See You Next Year compilation album with the brilliant “Mean Girl.”
Boyish
Boyish is the duo of vocalist India Shore and guitarist Claire Altendahl who met in 2016, a few weeks into their first year at Berklee College of Music, when India was auditioning for a showcase and needed a guitar player.
Their May release My Friend Mica was our introduction to Boyish, packed with angsty, driving indie rock songs that were recorded in Claire’s bedroom studio, in the apartment the two musicians share with six roommates. It’s not all sadness and failed relationships in Boyish’s music, however—there’s also hope, catharsis, a space for empathy, and the celebration of friendship.
Hamond
Hamond is from Houston and currently based in LA. Pirate Radio, his project from earlier this year, celebrates subcultures and fuses alternative and electronic music in a way that’s sophisticated without being inaccessible. “Angels” is a standout.
Babebee
Babebee is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter/producer/performer based in Atlanta who we first heard via the Pigeons & Planes Discord. They are inspired by artists like Imogen Heap, Björk, The xx, Frank Ocean, SOPHIE, FKA twigs, Blood Orange, underscores, and many more. Although they follow what’s going on in Atlanta’s vibrant underground scene, Babebee, like so many others, harnesses the power of the internet to connect and create with other artists from all over the world.
Babebee’s 2022 album mind over matter is packed with different sounds and approaches but what might be most impressive about the project—produced, mixed, and mastered by Babebee themselves, no less—is how consistent it is throughout.
Kenny Mason
Kenny Mason has been on our radar since “Hit” in 2019 and he leveled up this year with the release of RUFFS, an incredible mixtape that incorporates elements of punk rock and grunge alongside hip-hop. Kenny is building an undeniable catalog of alternative-leaning rap tracks, drawing inspiration from artists ranging from The Pixies to Lil Wayne to Michael Jackson.
The Atlanta rapper’s high-energy live show is not to be missed.
Ben Reilly
Atlanta-based rapper Ben Reilly has a way of making every other line sound like a hook. He’s been working on new ways to perfect his voice and delivery for years, and he’s a master of songs that are packed with unforgettable moments, including “Dimes,” his contribution to our compilation album See You Next Year.
Maxo
Maxo’s sophomore album Even God Has A Sense Of Humor is coming soon via Def Jam, and he announced the project with “48,” featuring Pink Siifu and produced by none other than Madlib. The song was released with a stunning double music video that introduces the next evolution of the LA rapper.
Al-Doms
Al-Doms is a versatile rapper from Virginia who released an album called Prescribed Overdose earlier this year, which includes the hard-hitting “HAHA” featuring Pusha T. Al-Doms stands out with eye-catching visuals, unconventional rollouts, and undeniable bars.
