After being up for auction on Sotheby’s for the last two weeks, bidding for the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 Lows has officially closed.

Just moments ago, the sale for all 200 pairs of the Damier-printed sneaker collab concluded, with almost every lot, besides a few men’s size 7.5 and 8 pairs, selling for above $100,000. The highest price that the sneaker sold for was $352,800 for a men’s size 5, and according to the auction house, this is the only size of the shoe to be produced. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the lowest price for the shoe sold for $75,600 in a men’s size 6.5.

Based on the calculations, the 200 pairs of the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 Lows sold for a grand total of $25.3 million, a figure that was confirmed by the auction house shortly after all lots closed. 100 percent of proceeds from the sales will go towards the Virgil Abloh “Post-Modern” Scholarship Fund and will benefit academically-inclined Black fashion students.

The Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1s were conceptualized by the French fashion house’s late menswear designer, Virgil Abloh, who passed away from a rare form of cancer in November. In addition to the style that was sold through the Sotheby’s auction, there are more iterations of the collab that were created by Abloh including eight “Friends & Family” colorways as well as an additional series of colorways that will receive a retail launch at a later date.

Despite the conclusion of Sotheby’s Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 auction today, Sotheby’s confirmed that the sneakers will be shipped sometime in the first half of 2022, but an exact date has not been announced.
