In Complex TV's latest episode of The Neighborhood, Los Angeles native Nipsey Hussle takes viewers to Crenshaw Boulevard and Slauson Avenue, an area the 28-year-old rapper knows like the back of his hand. One of the stops on Nipsey's personal tour is the flagship store for his Marathon clothing line, which was started by his older brother Blacc Sam. This spot holds historical significance for the rapper, who used to sell CD's out of the trunk of his car right in front of this location during the earlier part of his career.

Later, Nipsey Hussle visits a liquor store that's just a few blocks from where his grandparents live. There he chops it up with fans in the parking lot before going inside to quench his thirst. If the liquor store looks familiar, it's because you may have seen it in John Singleton's 1991 critically acclaimed film Boyz n the Hood starring Ice Cube and Cuba Gooding, Jr. "They actually used this same store in the Boyz n the Hood movie," Nipsey says. "Growing up, we thought that was tight that they filmed that in our area."

Watch the full clip above, where Nipsey also takes viewers to his studio in Los Angeles. His latest mixtape Crenshaw includes guest appearances from Rick Ross, Dom Kennedy, Skeme, and James Fauntleroy, and is available for free download on DatPiff.
