While the Nintendo Switch does not come with a pack in game, which doesn't bother me, the fact that the Switch needs to be both on and have the controllers docked to charge the controllers is quite annoying.
The battery life of the Switch while undocked isn't that bad, I wish it was a bit longer. The controllers themselves have a very long battery life when fully charged, I had up to around 10 hours of heavy use until they finally died on me.
I did have an issue with the dock and pack in HDMI cable provided though. Every once in a while the dock would power my Switch on and change to that input while I'm doing other things. So I have to either undock my switch to stop the inputs from changing or turn off the console completely.
One last thing that is cumbersome is that when the Switch is off or asleep, and it is placed onto the dock, it will resume function or turn on again. meaning I have to turn off my system again then place it into the dock while shutting down so it stays off.
Overall I've had a blast with my system and would highly recommend it. These inconveniences are a small matter that don't really detract from my enjoyment of this system.
